This image looks like face to me. I love the mixture of different colors and how they flow together in spirals. Good job capturing a surface-tension driven flow with such symmetry. The bowl as a backdrop is a nice mat white that doesn’t detract from the fluids. Did you try taking any more close-up shots on the colorful swirls?
I really love how pretty this picture despite the experiment’s simplicity. I love the contrast of the vibrant colors against the pale white milk.
The surface tension is aesthetically applied in this charming image. The nice control of the drop makes the color mixed well. Nice work
Interesting photo, I like how you did two drops of soap to add asymmetry to the image. The different colors on top of the white really pops. I also like how you can see the ring where the milk meets the bowl.
Great lighting and coloring. It would be really interesting to invert these colors. I like the use of space in this image
The colors and contrast are beautiful in this image. I like how you did this in a white container so the entire image has a white background. I may actually try to crop out the white container to make it a fully uniform in the background.
Great use of color. You may wanted to use less color types to have less black. great over all image
I really like the different colors in the image in contrast with the black. I almost looks like an alien head above the swirl. Maybe try inverting the colors.
Really cool photo. The mixing fluids have a nice flow and the colors are very clear. Your background is awesome as well!
The shapes created by the dye are very interesting and the colors against the white background look nice. The colors may be able to be boosted with some image processing to make them pop a bit more. The lighting was well done to prevent reflections on the surface of the fluid.
Lovin the swirls of color, it’s very pretty. It looks like some kind of crazy magnetic field visualization which is very cool. I like the fact that you can’t tell it’s in a bowl.
I really appreciate the eligancy in the picture with all of the colors clashing with the white. I would say try to eliminate the difference b/n the white pallet and the white pack ground.
I think your background choice for this image is excellent and I quite like the way the solid black feathers out into so many colors. Definitely some neat physics going on.
The image is awesome. I like the color variance in the image. The shape is pretty interesting. I also like how you crop the image. The background color matches the milk color and lighting is pretty good.
The bland white background makes the colors pop. I like the use of colors and the interesting patterns.
This is a really cool looking image. I like how in some sections the colors are very distinct, but in other sections they all blended together to become black. The almost circular swirls at the bottom of the image is amazing.
I love the abstract shapes coming out of this photo! Also the lighting is great. Consider making the white background black in photoshop or gimp.
I think this is an interesting image. I like that you have lots of different colors – I think you get an interesting interaction with that. Did you play around with contrast and brightness? The image looks a little dark to me (and the white milk looks a little off-white, so you could play around with that in lightroom if you have it). Why did you choose a still image vs a video?
Nice job with the lighting. The lighting is continuous throughout and is not distracting. The focus is on the colors which looks nice.
Have you though about reducing the number of colors used? I think you did a great job forming the motion, but the colors get a bit muted.
Super cool colors popping out of the photo! How much food coloring did you use? the black adds a stark contrast on the white milk. Really like the asymmetry of the photo!!
Simple experiment but good results. Like the black color in the middle mixing the food coloring. Maybe make the creamy white of the milk very white.
Nice to see someone do the milk and dye experiment. The chaotic blend of colors with the bright white background makes for a very abstract and aesthetically pleasing photo
Great work. The idea is very unique. the final picture looks very interesting. I think that if you cropped the gray edges the picture will look a lot nicer.
I like the multiple colors in the milk versus photos that I have seen with only one or two. It looks very beautiful and clear with the focus and the amount of white space used.
It is a simple set up but I like the colors. You did a good job avoiding glares. I think you could crop it so you could have less negative space.
The background of this image is a good bland background that doesn’t detract from the image what-so-ever. I am curious to see what this image would have looked like with a little bit of color modification, some of the colors seem to be slightly dull.
That’s really cool looking and I love the colors on top of a white background. It really makes it pop. You can kind of tell where the edge of the container is, I wonder what you could do if you have a larger container and you didn’t see the edges in the photo. It may also make it easier to edit so that you could make the whites really white! Love it!
