This image is very simple. I appreciate this very much. Beautiful photo!
I like how you captured the two flame peaks at once. The subject seems very slightly below and left of center, so it may help to crop a thin border off of the right and top sides to make the image more symmetric.
Very cool photo, I like the contrast you were able to portray with the flame and the dark background.
I wonder if it would hold if you used a paper clip and found a way to tie it with thread or a material that helps with that.
Love how the two ends of the flame look like eyes. Great job capturing the image while the curvature of the cotton was still intact.
I think the use of shaped cotton to create peaks of the fire was very innovative.
Other people have already mentioned it, but I also like how it feels like Halloween.
Such a great shape of the flame you captured!
The shape the flame turned out to be is really cool and unique. The small shadow at the bottom really adds to the picture.
I like the symmetry of the flame
Awesome technique for the setup. It sounds like it took some work, but the image is well crafted. I like the 90 deg shot to the rising of the flame. The depth of the shot comes out nice.
I like the way that the flame is illuminating the ground around it, makes it feel very bright and warm. Very cool how the flame curves, I can see how you were going for the smiley face.
I really like the background of your image as well as how you curved the cotton to obtain the peaks in the flame.
I appreciate the close up of the flame, especially on cotton that is 2 cm in length. It’s cool that you were able to capture the peaks of the flames at that scale.
I am impressed by the setup and the picture. I imagine it took a long time to finally get the result you wanted.
What do you feel the flame is portraying? If you were to make something out of it from the shape?
I enjoy that the only illumination of the photo is from the flame itself.
This reminds me of the picture of the black hole that was recently captured. Very cool perspective.
I like that the focus is on the bottom center of the cotton, instead of trying to focus on the flames coming off of the curved parts.
Given how small the cotton was, your image came out very clear!
It’s awesome how you took such a clear and crisp picture from your samsung device. The flame is perfectly focused sinced you used the ruler and it adds a lot to the picture.
I appreciate how you can see the cotton in focus, and the flames the curvature of the cotton produced.
I am impressed by the quality of the samsung phone camera; it brought out a lot of detail in this flame
I love the background. It gives it some depth to the image
The idea and conception of this picture was unique. How far away did you take the picture?
I love how close and clear the photo is.
Really cool picture. I think the details and the burnt cotton made look amazing.
This is a great visualization of the cotton combusting. Very nice detail in the flame and in the remaining cotton.
Great job getting the fire to burn from the ends. It gives a great visual of the different temperatures
I really like how it almost looks like there are two flames that mesh into one! You also did a good job on focusing on the flame instead of the cotton!
The colors here are great and it is interesting to see the cotton itself burning. Also its impressive that tis was taken by a phone camera.
I like the shape of the flame, the U shape makes it almost look like a smile.
How close were you to the fireplace when taking the images?
The shape reminds me of two pieces of candy corn!
This flame is really cool, I like how it isn’t your typical flame shape. Nice job thinking out of the box!
