This image is of dyed water flowing into corn syrup in a Hele Shaw cell. This special kind of flow displays the Saffman Taylor fingering instability, which is in due to the differing viscosities of the two fluids. The report for this image is linked below.

I wish there was more lighting on the top half but I still love the vibe it gives like we’re in a horror movie.
The flow looks great in the bottom half, however due to the limited light at the top, the rest of the flow is somewhat obscured.
This photo has a very interesting vibe, although I wish the top right corner was a little brighter. Maybe messing around with the contrast a bit in post processing would help with this.
I think the lighting is great. It gives it a unique mysterious and dark feeling
l like the use of green dye in the image. I think you should work on redcucing the blacks and adding more shadows to the image.
Very cool experiment. I do like the decision to keep the air bubbles in the image, they give some texture accents to the image.
The bubble make it look like an underwater plant
I like that this image creates depth because of the “trunk”
This reminds me of a palm tree
The unusual lighting positions makes for an interesting look.
I enjoy the crisp green depicted here.
I Like the orientation of this image, it shows a different side.
What do you think about the shadows/darkness near the top? Was it intentional?
What was the lighting of the image? The top of the image is very dark at the top, but the gradient across the image is very nice.
I immediately thought it looked like a palm tree
It reminds me of a palm tree! I also really enjoy the symmetry.
The lighting choice reminds me of a horror movie or sci-fi/alien movie.
Very dark, I wish I could see the second half of the image.
