This image shows a bursted egg yolk with canola oil and blue food coloring add on top of it. The egg yolk and canola oil do not mix due the density difference that the two possess. The canola oil is less dense than the egg yolk results in the oil only coating the yolk and not penetrating it. Due to this, we can see that some of the blue food coloring is penetrating the egg yolk while some is following the oil property in coating the yolk’s surface.

The mixture is wild! It definitely makes for a unique image.
I like the super shiny highlights of the bubbles!
Really enjoy the colors in the photo, Edgar. The center of the image is really interesting, and the framing of the image makes it a little mysterious.
What an interesting color palette! It’s giving me some Green Eggs & Ham vibes (although I wouldn’t personally eat it!). Great job.
I think the clear bubbles are interesting. I don’t think I would have expected that from egg yolk, oil, and food coloring. It is also neat that you used an egg yolk.
This is a very creative interpretation of fluids! The use of an egg yolk would never have crossed my mind. I also really like how the top and bottom are out of focus, drawing my focus to that inner band.
I think this is a really interesting photo. I think it’s really cool how you decided to capture this image.
