This image is taken of a leaf under a source of laminar flow. When the water hits the leaf, it is spread per the geometry of the surface, flattening into a sheet that is broken in symmetric locations by the leaf’s sharp edges. Different sources of light play off the spray, displaying the contours of the water as it fluctuates from laminar to turbulent. The surface tension of the water is also visible in its rounded shape as it flows.

I enjoy how you captured the laminar flow across the top of the leaf and as the flow begins to break up after it leaves the leaf. The intersecting flows at the edges of the leaf are really cool too!

The leaf at the top right is what initial captures my attention with its bright color. I like how the water flows in three distinct directions.
This is an interesting photo. The way that the water flows in a nice mostly smooth sheet looks nice and the mirror makes it look like the whole sheet of water is floating in the air.
The very vibrant green of the leaf is quite eye catching. I think that the amber and white light reflections are interesting as well.

I really like the framing of the image. It almost feels like the leaf is in a stream. Also really like how the center of the image is in focus and it blurs towards the edges. The way the geometry of the leaf redirects the incoming laminar flow differently in different parts is really interesting. Nice work!
How you used the mirror to reflect the light to get the various colors in the photo was a great idea. I wouldn’t have realized this was something done inside rather than at a stream.
The color use in the top right corner is wonderful. It adds warm tone to the photograph, and really improves the aesthetic appeal of the photo.
I really like the shape the water takes on because of the geometry of the leaf, making it look like a subtle variation of the original. The lighting is very nice and makes the water look very beautiful as it covers the leaf.
I really like how you were able to capture the ripples of the of this stream! With no breaks in the stream, it gives off a very calming effect.

I really like the diagonal composition of this photo with the leaf and water source coming from the upper right corner. I also like how we can see the edge of the water flow in the other corners. The framing in this photo is really nice. You also did a good job with the contrast. The water is very visible due to the light reflecting and refracting. It is easy to see the flow of the water.
