Great time lapse! I like how the development of the clouds was able to be captured, great work!
really nice work. The selected exposure seemed to handle well the entire time. The mountain wave is very apparent, and turbulence and instabilities are also fun to see. Some instances where defective frames were removed seem a little jarring, perhaps a split and brief fade transition would take out some of the jump.
Great contrast in this video, very pleasing to watch. A still photograph doesn’t due any justice to the beauty of the clouds as they form and dissipate, the time lapse captures that very well.
This is so interesting; the dissipation and reformation is fun to watch. Great contrast and there is an abundance of details. Creative approach to this project; well done.
I like that you did a video, the viewer gets a chance to see the motion of the clouds. The viewer is also able to see how the clouds stay relatively stationary. It was very well done.
I love this video! You did an incredible job capturing the clouds building and dispersing over Pikes Peak. And I really like when rays of sunlight would beam down towards the city to the south, especially in the second half of the video. I went to high school on the north end of Colorado Springs. I truly love your view of the Air Force Academy and Pikes Peak. You did an incredible job!
Really nice time lapse video especially for one of your first tries. Good call locking the exposure by using manual mode. I also like the choice of music and think it fits the video well. One my my favorite parts of time lapse videos is how they reveal that clouds are constantly forming and disappearing instead of just moving unchanged with the air currents. Your video really reveals how the clouds are locked at a certain distance from the mountains even as the air flows through them.
I love how the clouds sort of combine into three different layers. Brilliant spot to take this photo and the detail in the clouds is superb.
1. Artistically excellent- the music goes well with the clouds and composition of the video image.
2. The flow is well detailed.
3. The technique is very well done.
Music choice on point. Great work capturing the cloud dynamics.
Settings and focus really dialed in. The music choice fit well with the video. Really captures the interesting behavior of clouds.
Beautiful cloud time lapse. The flow is clearly demonstrated. The structure and depth of clouds are also extremely detailed.
Art: The color contrast between the background and the colors in the clouds were great. I have never seen how clouds kind of stay in position and clouds forming down wind from them.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and easily recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus of the moving clouds is fantastic.
Awesome video. It was a intoxicating to watch. Good focus. The flow is amazing. Always changing and folding. Very nice time lapse video.
WOW! I love this video. The music is great. Clear mountain wave so cool
I really like how you can see the cloud at the beginning “roll” but never move and how there seems to be some sort of break where the clouds cannot form and then a new cloud forms closer to the camera. Great spot for the timelapse. I like how you can see the suns rays shine differently with each image.
Absolutely beautiful video. It was mesmerizing to see how the clouds were rolling through the sky. The video lagged a bit but that might be because of the website so yeah. Really awesome video.
This time lapse is very well done! The focus stays sharp throughout the video which is often hard to accomplish. The advance and retreat and retreat of the clouds formation reminds me of the waves at the beach.
This is an incredibly cool time lapse! The music sets a very relaxing and therapeutic mood. I love how the clouds seem to just roll in place.
This video is really quite mesmerizing. You can really see how the air flows through the clouds, and they themselves barely move, nice flow representation. Awesome, awesome video. Nice audio on choice too!
Very interesting how the middle cloud stays in relatively the same position for part of the time lapse. Cool to see the formation and the change in texture.
This is a really cool video! awesome to see how one of the main clouds just stays in the same spot and grows and shrinks. also cool to see how some clouds appear to show up out of no where.
Nice long timelapse, you must have been out there for a while! I like how the major cloud formations actually seem to be staying in place, while parts of the cloud seem to blow off and re-form later.
Really interesting video, it shows how the clouds roll a lot more than they laterally move for the most part. Also, excellent calming music choice. Nice depth of field and color.
– The video is very clear and has great detail.
– The contrast between the blue and white is clear.
– It is really cool to see the clouds sort of appear from out of nowhere and have the sun light up the clouds as they come towards the end.
