I really like the geometric nature of the photo. There seems to be a gradient from light to dark diagonally across the picture, broken only by the geometry of the cloud itself. The range of greys is really nice, and provides a great sense of detail.
This picture makes me feel like I have vertigo. The ground is no where to be seen, the storm is above, but I still feel lost in the photo. I love that it makes the viewer think about what is going on in the photo. The photo has great contrast and a dynamic feel. Well done.
I love cloud pictures that capture the feeling of a storm, and you nailed it. The detail is great, more specifically I like that the rain is visible. Really well captured, there is nothing distracting, yet everything is interesting.
Very stormy looking picture. Cool streaking in the back, you can see the rain trails in the background. The range in contrast is very good, you can see from white to black.
Great job focusing on the base of a cumulonimbus cloud. From the looks of this image, I would have thought this turned into a major storm but instead it dissipated shortly after this picture was taken. I really like the way the clouds look like upside down rolling hills.
Nice photo of an ominous storm cloud. I do like the contrast between the darker textured region at the top and the lighter wispy region on the bottom. It’s one of those images where one can’t be sure of the scale. In addition to looking like a large cloud it also looks like it could be a microscopic photo of a very different subject.
The darkness of the clouds make this dramatic to the eye. I also appreciate the lack of foreground, it puts me as the viewer without a sense of perspective or scale, which makes it feel very surreal. It’s a nice change from all the other mountain scapes with clouds next to them.
The underside of he cloud has very interesting topography. Like some kind of bed sheet or clothing with creases on the surface. You could potentially play with the contrast to bring out the edges a little more.
1. The image is artistically well composed with the diagonal composition lines making the image very interesting.
2. The flow is well demonstrated.
3. The photographic technique is good.
Very threatening and unique. I appreciate how detailed and how full the frame is. Seems like a much more serious system than what you described in class.
I really like the rain streaks coming out of the cloud, and the texture of the clouds. Maybe a larger contrast would emphasis the daunting feel of the cloud.
Cool detail of the cloud, nice dynamic range. I like how it’s light in the lower right corner, and dark in the upper right. Interesting representation of the fluid flow.
10/10. Composition is great, awesome transition from the wispy bottom to the solid top. Nice full range of grey reveals lots of details in the solid side of the cloud.
I really like this image because it shows a very unstable weather almost as if its about to produce a tornado. I like how you can see the rain streaks in the lighter part of the image and the contrast is wonderful.
Art: I really like the dark tones of the clouds and the light reflecting up on them.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and easily recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus of the Clouds is great, especially with the falling rain.

Excellent dark image, nice imposing clouds. Well focused and interesting to see the rain trailing off the clouds. Contrast in the image was good.
Seems like a rain cloud. The color of the clouds are really interesting and ominous but looks beautiful at the same time.
That is a terrifying looking cloud. So dark and the contrast is very nice. Good dynamic range. It looks very textured. Good focus. Nice Picture
Super dark & gloomy. Looks cool, reminds me of how Tim Burton might portray a sky. I love that you can see the detail in the middle of the image.
Wow this is cool! I love the dark gray. I like the choice of making it darker
