Nice range of warm tones. A little more contrast with the background may help though.

The contrast and focus are sharp in the image. Removing the reflections from the flash/light source may lend to the overall quality of the image.

This background almost feels like a screensaver Microsoft or Bing would use. I would love to see this as a screen on a smart phone too. The top part of the paint feels like it could come down just a bit more so that half of the screen has color. I’m not saying the image is bad without the top half being colored, but, in my opinion, waiting a bit longer for it to come down would’ve made the image better. In terms of artistic merit, I see this image as use for how the world works. The world is filled with all sorts of people and we all bleed in together as a canvas. Our colors mix and match across all wavelengths, and we’re only partway in to making the world a giant mix of colors.

Sharp focus, shadows, light spots give the streaks great 3D feel.

The variety of colors help bring out the contrast along with the pale background. Great lighting as well.

Beautiful colors and contrast! It’s interesting to see how some of the oobleck flows faster than others.

Great focus and contrast against the background. Very colorful and opaqueness in the colors. I really enjoy how you can see the different thickness in the oobleck because of the light reflections.

I like the way the yellow slowly turns to orange on one of the drips. I like the lightning glares you see in the fluid as well.

The coloring, use of negative space, and bulbing of the oobleck are all super cool. The photo has great focus as well.

Nice sharp flows on a clean background makes this a very pleasing image to the eye. The light reflections that bring out the shininess of the fluid are a nice touch. I wish the board was a “Purer” white. Try using the dodge tool to achieve this. Normally excessive shadows aren’t a good thing in my mind, but in this case it brought out the 3D effect of the oobleck and I really like it.

Really cool visualization of slow moving fluid. Colors are very vibrant and I like where some of them overlap and start mixing.

Art: The color contrast between the background and the fluid is excellent. The colors that were used in this piece is great.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus on the fluid that is flowing down is great.

Such a cool picture man. The reflections and drips are very interesting to look at. I like how the streaks are of very constant height. But there are also different sizes of streak. The only critique would be that the corrections from the splatter are still visible and sort of take away from the image.

i really like mixing of the colors. reminds me of ketchup and mustard mixing. It is cool to see how thick some of the droplets are on the board.

    – I like the symmetry of the drops.
    – Would be interesting to see how well this image would contrast on the black background.
