Your group really nailed this setup! I think you did a great job with your color selection as well! I love the little tendrils that poke out. The fingerprint color pattern really amazes me too. Great job! I wish your image was a tad brighter. Other than that stellar job!
Hi Maddie, the darker lighting makes the purple network stand out more in the center of the frame. Rad picture!

Nice choice of the dye color used. I really liked how the focus is set on the ferrofluid spikes and the small cells are visible in between the spikes. It might give us an insight into the ferrofluids reaction to the magnetic flow lines. I think a little editing to either crop the image or increase the exposure would add to the aesthetics of the image.

I really like the aesthetics of this picture, it almost looks like a purple zebra print being bent out of shape. I think maybe you could have cropped the image in closer.

The texture you were able to capture in this image is phenomenal. I think the few highlights are pretty but the image could benefit from a few more to balance out the dark. Your use of cropping really enhances the overall image.
I think the link to your image is broken. However, I recall your image from our critique session. I think you did a great job framing the image. And the reflections you included really bring out some of the detail around the normal field instabilities of the ferrofluid. However, the image as a whole is a bit dark. With a bit of editing, I think this could be a really remarkable image. Good work!
