2024 Best of Web: Avalanche Flow

This example of flow is very interesting, although the substance is made of water the flow appears to be more granular. The photographer captured the perfect moment after an avalanche was triggered and a water fall like effect of snow was seen falling down the mountain. The mist of snow that is in the air adds an interesting effect to the perspective and overall look of the photo.

This is my Second Prize vote. I find that the fluidization of the solid snow particles is very fascinating, and I enjoy the waterfall effect. The snow that comes from the base of the fall in plumes makes the image feel more dynamic
