A freshly laid egg is cracked and dropped onto glass. The egg white, or albumen, is less viscous than a store bought egg due to the freezing outdoor temperatures. The yolk breaks immediately due to thinning of the albumen.

Wow! That was kinda disgusting! But it was really cool to watch the action of the eggs cracking and dropping. I would be really curious to see the egg cooking from underside the glass.

The poor focus at the beginning added to the movie—everything comes into focus and together at the end.

Great explanation for what is causing the egg to break. The lighting works well for keeping the attention on the egg. Slowing down the moment right when the egg breaks would help to see what’s happening.
I really like the sudden explosion of egg, out from the dark. The color is really stunning, and the focus is good as well. The first half, while it builds tension, is somewhat confusing and I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to be looking at.

Great usage of worm’s eye view to capture the moment of impact of an egg yolk falling on a surface. The flow physics are made exceptionally clear because of your method.
This is very captivating. It is very hard to tell what is happening at the beginning, and then it becomes clear and when the egg drop and breaks, it is kinda funny. The breaking egg is interesting.
It’s dark at first and hard to see but it builds up to the explosion of yellow from the yolk. Very well executed.

Pretty straight forward experiment but the music and the fonts totally make up for it.

Fantastic idea and presentation; the unique angle, the title sequence, and the music all add to the experience. I love the dark lighting, but due to the camera you used or the youtube compression the video looks low-resolution and there is a lot of pattern noise. I would consider increasing the amount of lighting to try to fix this.
Cool idea, I like that you shot the video from an unconventional angle. The flow was interesting, I think it would be really cool if the video were shot at an even higher frame rate to show the impact.
