The flame’s shape is beautiful and the the ice ball melting is a great contrast

Gorgeous flame focus. The image uploaded to flow-vis is really low res, but the one shown in class showed that this was well-focused.

Nice shot. I like the post processing of the flame. Taking more images at different settings could be interesting

What do you think we’re seeing in the region between the visible flame and the ice sphere?

I like the trinkle of flames going down away from the ice. Good call on changing the colors to purple even though it couldn’t happen in real life.

The manipulation of the colors is great, and the flame and ice sphere are nicely framed. The edges of the flame are very sharp and striking.

The green and pink colors in this image work well together and it’s amazing that you got a specific kind of flame for this submission.

It’s so cool. I like the vortex-like shapes the flame surfaces make.

I really like to coloring in this image and the shape of the flame. The image looks a little grainy, maybe the ISO was too high?

I love the colors in this image, especially the light blue hue in the base of the flame. I also like how much the flame stands out against the black background. Lovely image!

Great, sharp flame. This is absolutely beautiful. It’s asymmetric, but it balances quite well.

I really like the colors that you were able to get in this image. Focus could use some work, but I like the aesthetic of having the blurred flame in the background.
